Terms & Conditions - Mini Nature Artist Garden

By making a booking with Mini Nature Artists, customers are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below.

These terms and conditions are used in conjunction with Mini Nature Artists main terms and conditions. 

General

We aim to provide the highest quality experiences for all our customers. We are committed to the safety of all persons who attend our experiences and to deliver the highest standard of service.

Participating in a workshop, class or activity is at your own risk without any proven negligence, breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by Mini Nature Artists.

​

We cannot offer a refund for a lesson missed due to illness.

We cannot cover any damages incurred during a workshop, class or event of an item during an event or after the event.  

Mini Nature Artists follows thorough internal checks of the venue and its own equipment to ensure that they are clean and safe. Specific Risk Assessments are conducted for each session.

At our club, we expect all children to behave appropriately. If a child's behaviour is deemed inappropriate, we will promptly inform the parent or guardian who made the booking.

​

Should a child's behaviour become disruptive to the extent that it hinders the quality of the class and affects other children, we reserve the right to exclude the child from the class.

​

We ask that you agree to support the staff to help set the right example to the children by treating our colleagues with the respect they deserve whilst at work.

Privacy & Safety

Any information users provide is solely to enable Joanna Isobel Art / Mini Nature Artists to process your enquiry or project and provide a high level of service. The information concerning you will be accurate and up to date and will be held in accordance with the law. If you find any inaccuracies they will delete or correct it promptly.

Except as set out here or as required by law or a court of competent jurisdiction, Joanna Isobel Art / Mini Nature Artists will not reveal any personal data about you to any third party, except to their relevant Associates if necessary for gathering quotations, but you consent to your such being disclosed to any person, firm or company to whom they sells the whole or a substantial part of the business or to whom they may transfer any part of their rights or obligations.

Cancellation

In exceptional circumstances we may have to cancel a session, this includes when a minimum of 4 participants has not been reached. In this event we will try to offer an alternative date to transfer the session or if this is not possible, a refund will be provided for the dates cancelled.

Mini Nature Artists runs a strict no refunds policy for sessions. Where the customer is no longer able to attend the session, they may contact Mini Nature Artists to request an alternative date which will be accommodated where possible.

Supervision

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, this adult must not leave the child at any point during the session. The named adult is responsible for ensuring the child’s safety at all times in line with their abilities.

Photographs

On occasion Mini Nature Artists leader may use a photographic device to take photos of the artwork. In the case of an emergency, the agreed phone may be used to record an incident for reporting purposes only. Photographs will only be taken of children with their parents’ permission, and adults with adult permission.

We love you taking pictures or videos of your children or the activities during the course, provided it doesn't interfere with the class. In addition, please always be sensitive of taking pictures of others without their permission. If you are asked to stop, please do respect the rights of others.

Protection of Property

Please note that your property left during the activity is your responsibility and Mini Nature Artists cannot take any responsibility for the safeguarding of these items.

Mini Nature Artist has a commitment to ensure that the equipment, activities and service are appropriate and considerate to everyone regardless of race, culture, language, gender, age, experience, religion, background, ability or disability.

Safeguarding and OFSTED

Providers do not have to register with Ofsted if they care for children aged 5 and over (we will have no children under 5 unless accompanied by a responsible adult) and offer no more than two activities from a prescribed list (we offer Arts & Crafts only).

Please be assured that the welfare of the children in our care will always take priority.

Leader of Mini Nature Artists holds a clear DBS, Safeguarding level 2 certification and Public Liability Insurance.

Respect For The Garden And Community Space

Please ensure that when using the toilet facilities at Jealotts Hill Community Landshare, you use them appropriately, and in respect of other users of the Site and facilities. Children using the toilet facilities must be always supervised by their responsible adult.

​

Jealott’s Hill Community Landshare is a shared, active site cared for by volunteers and community groups. Please ensure that you and your children treat the space, its visitors, and the dedicated gardeners with courtesy and respect.

​

Please do not pick, trample, or disturb any garden plots, plants, or produce. These areas are actively tended by volunteers and are essential to the community project.

To help preserve the natural beauty and ongoing work of the space, please stick to designated pathways and activity areas.

Returns and Refunds

Not accepted, but please contact me if you have problems with your order.

Clothing and Personal Property

Mini Nature Artists tutor will do their best to ensure that your child’s clothing is protected from the art materials used, however we accept no responsibility for and damage to your child’s clothing before, during or after any of our sessions. We will provide sleeveless aprons and advise that your child wears items of old clothing.
